A Time for Quilting....

Like quilting? So do I!! Here's a couple I did for my grandkids. Gage's is just a hodge-podge of bandana's, which he loved! Hannah's is a raggy style quilt made with plenty of pink and purple ginghams. We had loads of fun making these little darlin's. I hope and pray you are having a great Fall Ya'll !!!

I just love the browns in these paper beads. I't made from my favorite baking catalog from King Arthur Flour... LOL!

My little brother, Richie, saw the green one below and commented that he really liked it, so, little brother, Happy Birthday!!! Here's a picture of your present! I will hang on to it until I see you soon..

Pink Zebra Jasper Necklace Set

Jasper is a beautiful thing, isn't it? Do you realize that the walls of Heaven will be made of Jasper? If you don't believe me... read Revelation 21:18, it describes it so well. I just wonder what kind because there are so many different patterns of Jasper stone....

I've been playing with Pink Zebra Jasper today. It's so pretty, isn't it?! I've made two necklaces and one has a bracelet and earrings to match, which I placed on my Etsy shop.

Paper Beads Galore!!

I have learned how to make paper beads this week. As for my latest project, which is my first for paper beads, I have done a necklace with paper and wood beads. I think it's just lovely. This is a very fun craft that has a really good calming effect on me! LOL! Flirty Little Butterflies....

These little numbers are made with Sterling Silver .925 and some cute little Swarovski purple butterflies... I need some jewelers pickling solution in a bad way. I buffed off the oxidation with some steel wool - that actually feels pretty yukky in my hands... don't like soap pads due to that, too. LOL! but I use them anyway......

My Etsy Shop

Here's my first banner for my Etsy shop... I love being called "Mamaw" so I thought it appropriate to include this in my shop name. I love it! I know it will be slow but I will learn from other folks on Etsy how to begin.... I need to work on it today. OH! BTW - Those Rhododendrons are in my own yard! Aren't they lovely??

Blue Beaded Byzantine Bracelet

I'm trying to do "chain maille" also. This is a pretty weave called a "byzantine". I added the blue beaded segments for added color. Aluminum is fun to work with and it is so easy to make your own jump rings. My Grand-daughter, Hannah, eyed this one while she was visiting this weekend... so says her mother... Yes, Hannah, I'm leaving you all my jewelry making toys in my will. :oD

.999 Fine Silver Earwires

Oh My Gosh! My first pair of balled earwires! How pretty these turned out for me! I bought one foot of fine silver from my favorite seller on ebay and this is what I used it for. I've been meaning to learn this new techinique for awhile....well, new to me anyway.. LOL! I'm still not used to using a hand held mini torch... but I'm learning! Comments anyone?

Faux Lampwork beads and copper spiral set...

I finally found the other picture of this set that includes the earrings to match! I see that my dear friend, Sheila is my first viewer. I will eventually find out how to link all this together with my facebook page, etc., so my friends and family can see what I'm doing these days..

Ahh... one of my most recent creations.... faux lampwork beads from polymer clay baked and glazed with a very pretty copper spiral arrangement. This one was a gift for a special friend. I'm not a novice but not a professional either, YET!!!
